Garden

“Garden” my latest single released in May 2020 draws its inspiration from the beautiful Garden City, Singapore. Based on the dream that you aspire, Garden is that dream you wish you never wake up from. What I like about the song is the dreamy feel and the incorporation of the sound of rainfall that adds a melancholic feel to it.

Nature is once again the inspiration and the star in this song. Once again this is the second song that I composed in the Singapore Botanical Gardens during a morning walk. I remembered journaling about the sight and sounds of the garden during that walk as if I knew I might write another song about the nature. I actually recorded sound of the fountain which probably led to the incorporation of the sound of rainfall at the introduction for this song. Recording this song is particularly an ease and it is one of the songs that gets my emotions up.

The garden is an enchanting and dreamy place and it always gives me the feeling of wanting to express myself freely by dancing in the green field surrounded by the glorious trees. Garden is a song that can bring your imagination to a beautiful aesthetic heavenly paradise. I call it a gift from nature those songs that I wrote in the Botanic Gardens. This is the place that reignited my aspiration for music that keeps me alive and excited about life. People always say in Singapore it is very difficult to do music and this song will always be that song to keep me going and to remind me to continue to persevere and living in my dream no matter what as music symbolises that paradise that I won't wanna to wake up from.
